An a/r/tographer desires to respond to metaphors and symbols in order to divulge what is known through what cannot be expressed in words alone. Artistic and textual experiences and understandings are embodied: in other words, symbols, metaphors, patterns, and concepts that keep repeating leverage new tensions and understandings. As I put all the storyboards together, the reverberations were ever present, niggling and prodding me to consider the knowing, doing, and making that were facilitated through this participatory research. These rhythms compel the viewer to consider each individual rendering again in a new light in order to confirm or challenge prior understandings.
