The Contiguity Storyboard represents elements from each of the eight study participants’ identities – elements I chose because they resonated with mine. The storyboard reflects these complex meanings but is also an example of doubling in its combination of text and images supplied by the participants. The participants’ social media behaviours incorporated into the storyboard include: scrolling through a social media feed (observing); posting a photograph (interestingly, there were no selfies included); the beach; an outdoor concert and festival; a Greek flag; the words kind, experiences, social, and driven in the sky; and the two-fingered pose prevalent in photographs of youths uploaded to social media. In this storyboard, we see the capabilities of artist, researcher and teacher being brought together through image and text, process and product.
