The contiguity storyboard is an amalgamation of Greek locations such as a beach, an outdoor music festival, the Greek flag, socialising with friends and capturing the moment with our cameras: a record of memorable lived experiences. There are echoes of socialising, enjoyment, and experiences of music. There is also tension between the physical and the virtual in terms of experiencing and sharing with others, letting others glimpse our personal experiences and hobbies. There is movement in terms of people interacting at a music festival in person, taking a photograph and possibly sharing it via social media. As someone who enjoys Greek music and dance, as reflected through Smaragda’s choice of image for her Instagram portrait, we can see the happiness and elation of living in the moment during large outdoor music events, something that was banned at this point in time due to the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.
