In the excess storyboard, I have placed myself centrally, though it is the participants who are reflected; there are echoes of vibrations from new media interaction, and tension in terms of the researcher versus the participants’ reflections in the mirror, as the reflection does not correspond with the person looking in the mirror (me, the researcher). Therefore, something here is not congruent, or is perplexing to the onlooker, the other. Movement is evident through the waves of emotion, engagement, and energy created by the repetition of words in the background. The words that vibrate in the background include community, location, language, and culture. By holding a mirror up to my practice, I expose the value of praxis. This mirrored image prompts the onlooker to reflect yet again on the relational component to becoming.
