CSV file containing country-specific base case unit costs estimates of anaemia interventions.

Unit costs for the following interventions are included:

  • Iron supplementation (in pregnant and non-pregnant women);
  • Staple food fortification (in the general population in countries where maize flour, wheat flour or rice are consumed);
  • Multiple micronutrient supplementation MMS (in pregnant women);
  • Intermittent preventive treatment of malaria in pregnancy (in pregnant women in malaria endemic countries only);
  • Insecticide treated bed nets (ITN) (in the general population in malaria endemic countries only);
  • Deworming tablets (in pregnant and non-pregnant women in countries where prevalence of hookworm and/or T. trichiura infection is > 20% and the prevalence of anaemia is > 40 %)

Dataset contains total unit costs and unit costs broken down by the following components

  • commodity costs (e.g., cost of drugs and supplements);
  • the costs associated with commodity supply chains;
  • the costs of the service delivery channels through which beneficiaries access commodities (e.g., health facility visits);
  • program-level costs capture the costs associated with delivering the interventions that are incurred at an ‘administrative level’ that is outside the point of delivery
