In order to evaluate the embodied GHG emissions of tall buildings and demonstrate the use of a proposed design framework, three reinforced concrete and three composite tall buildings located in South Korea were analysed. The buildings were constructed between 2002 and 2004 and range from 46 to 73 storeys tall. Five of the case study buildings are in the city of Seoul and one is in Busan. The material quantities for the structural system were published by Cho et al. (2004). The material quantities were complimented by this project with various building parameters.
