These data detail a pool of meanings extracted from the transcripts of participants in a study examining the perceptions and experiences of teaching academics at two sampling points - (a) in early 2021, within the disruptive period of the move online owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, and (b) in early 2022, after a full academic year post-disruption.
