This document collates content used in the Introduction to Open Educational Resources (OERs) professional development program for Scholarly Services staff.

The self-paced online course was published in the Canvas LMS in June 2022 for Scholarly Services staff, with the primary audience being liaison librarian teams.

The course comprises five self-paced modules:

  1. What are OERs?
  2. Benefits of OERs
  3. Situating OERs
  4. Find and Evaluate
  5. Adopt and Create

Throughout the modules participants will find H5P interactions, videos, infographics, and ungraded quizzes.

The time commitment is approximately 20-30 minutes per module, with options to delve deeper along the way.
