Survival Guide for Resettlement: New Migrants and New Media
The Survival Guide for Resettlement: New Migrants and New Media can be utilised by other migrant and diaspora groups to help new migrants navigate their digital and physical lives. This collaboratively created resource was a valuable outcome of engaging Greek migrant youth in a Participatory Narrative Inquiry (PNI) through art-based activities for sensemaking and to elicit participant knowledge, to create resources that can help migrant youths to feel a part of their diaspora community. This Survival Guide can be used with migrant youths from other cultural backgrounds, as well as teachers and parents who can see their students and children struggle to adjust to life in Australia, make friends in the physical world and limit nostalgic longing for a lost childhood and past.
