This table outlines examples of specific actions, activities, or initiatives that can be conducted to strengthen our response to homelessness in children and adolescents within the global standards for Health Promoting Schools and systems approach.

A/Prof Jess Heerde is supported by a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Emerging Leadership Investigator Grant (GNT2007722). She holds a Dame Kate Campbell Fellowship awarded by the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at The University of Melbourne. Dr Monika Raniti is supported by the Centre of Research Excellence in Driving Global Investment in Adolescent Health (GNT1171981) and The ALIVE National Centre for Mental Health Research Translation (GNT2002047). Professor Susan Sawyer is supported by the Geoff and Helen Handbury Chair of Adolescent Health, Department of Paediatrics, The University of Melbourne and an NHMRC Investigator Grant (GNT1196999). Professor Sawyer and Dr Raniti were academic partners to the World Health Organization and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization around a body of work that led to the first global standards for HPS. This article uses the framework that they developed for a series of Topic Briefs on HPS that are soon to be published.
