Moradab Hill/ Eslamabad is an informal settlement in Iran. This diagram shows the distribution of interaction of each of the ten participants with family members, friends and neighbours. It shows the limited circle of women's interaction in this context.

This diagram is part of a research that adopts a gender perspective to explore the influence of different places on women’s practices for social interaction and physical activity in the case of Moradab Hill (an informal settlement in Iran). This research was undertaken in 2019, as part of an MPhil studies at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Cambridge. The fieldwork was undertaken in April 2019.

This diagram was created by Sombol Mokhles, as part of the results of the undertaken interviews with 10 women that lived or worked in Moradab Hill.
