Research Statement

This is a major new public art work which is a field I have not experienced before. The aim and purpose of the work was to represent local history and provide an artwork that thousands of people will encounter on a daily basis. This is a major contribution to the field of public art, both materially and conceptually. Additionally, this is an extremely large work that had to fit within architectural and material limitations and satisfy a large number of stakeholders. Anzac station is set to open in 2025 and will be use by thousands of passengers on a daily basis. This work was designed and created to provide a safe and peaceful passage through the station from ground level to platform.
