Story map - Elders

Story map for short film Elders. The nature of country was vital to the storytelling of this film, so planning to ensure the story map was clear was essential to the design process.

Using photographs from site recces, and choosing locations that would shift to suit the tone of the film and support the visual journey through story space, this map lays out the locations in story order, rather than their geographical location in the real world. Key story beats are identified and mapped to chosen locations to ensure the visual journey was clear and supported the storytelling of the film.
