The AudioVisual Garden was a botanical installation of sound and light that examined interactions between living plants and people, using images and sounds in a creative inquiry to discover hidden forms of communication or fields of influence between plants and people. A collection of indoor plants, multi-channel audio and large-format video projection formed the AudioVisual Garden. Plants were wired-up via sensors and signal translators to directly generate and manipulate sound and visuals according to parameters and structures collaboratively designed by composer Anthony Lyons and visual artist Paul Fletcher.
