Conserving plastics in paper-based collections

Many cultural collections collect plastics, which are known to degrade over time. Currently, there are limited guidelines for the conservation of plastics in book and paper collections. My aim is to find approaches to slow the degradation of plastics in archives, libraries, and other paper-based collections.

This was an entry to the 2020 Visualise Your Thesis competition at the University of Melbourne.
