Background:

Before donation, deceased organ donors are screened for blood-borne viruses. Recent infections may not always be detected. This video assists users to visualise the impact of the Quarantine Adjusted Window Period on the Residual Risk of undetected infection in deceased organ donors. The tool employs the Quarantine Adjusted Window Period Model to calculate the risk.
