Meaning in life and self-efficacy contribute positively to life, but little is known about how schools influence these. The study will explore the meaningfulness of schooling experiences of democratic and mainstream school's past pupils by using a newly developed questionnaire. The impact of school systems on current general meaning in adult life, meaning at work and general self-efficacy will be measured using online questionnaires. Data will be analysed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modelling.
