Heart failure syndrome is characterised by high rates of index hospital admission and short term 30-day readmission. A leading readmission cause is re-congestion, possibly linked to ineffective decongestion at index hospitalisation. My project aims to detect residual lung congestion using a portable ultrasound device at point of care prior to discharge and guide the volume treatment.
