The second annual Biodiversity Concerns Survey has shown that Australians care deeply about the state of nature, with a strong majority wanting the federal government to greatly increase its investment in conservation programs and implement stronger national environmental laws. This year’s study, which surveyed more than 3,400 Australians in late 2023, canvassed major environmental policy issues state and federal governments are likely to face in 2024.
