Experiential Learning: Transforming Classrooms through Experiences

Experiential Learning: Transforming Classrooms through Experiences is a web-based teaching and learning resource for university educators. The resource presents an overview of experiential learning varieties in the context of Higher Education, and with the focus on Humanities and Social Sciences. It defines different subsets of experiential learning, ranging from Work Integrated Learning to classroom activities, like simulations and role plays and provides research-based examples of all of these categories. The resource, specifically, focuses on classroom-based experiential learning and links to practice-based showcases of simulations, project-based learning and Virtual Reality experiences from across the Faculty of Arts, University of Melbourne.
