The Fair Day's Work (FDW) dashboard allows users to explore data gathered as part of a survey on working conditions in Australia. The dashboard includes:

A map of Australia, showing the working locations of the participants in the survey. The toolbar on the top right of the image allows the user to move the map, select a particular area and reset the view. The data points showed change according to the filters applied to the data (see below).

Data filtering functionality based on four categories: Demographics, Education, Business, Employment. Active filters appear on top of the dashboard to help users keep track of their selections and easily reset them.

Five tabs:

Data Summary: In this tab an overall view of the survey data is presented. For this reason, filtering does not alter the three plots shown. The top plot shows the distribution of age and gender of the survey participants. Positioning the cursor on top of a bar visualises the age and number of people in that category. Each of the five categories (Man, Woman, Non-binary / gender diverse, Prefer not to say, Prefer to self describe) can be selected / deselected by clicking on the corresponding caption on the right of the plot. It is possible to select a region of the histogram with the mouse to zoom in (double click to reset the view). The plot can be manipulated using the toolbar on the top right. The middle plot shows a Sankey diagram of the citizenship and visa status of the survey participants. As the previous plot, this plot can be manipulated using the mouse and the toolbar on the top right. The bottom plot shows the distribution of employment type and employment situation of the survey participants. This plot can be manipulated as the two above.

Working Conditions: This tab includes five histograms that change based on the active filters selected by users. The plot can be manipulated using the toolbar on the top right.

Required Expenses: This tab includes one histogram that changes based on the active filters selected by users. The plot can be manipulated using the toolbar on the top right.

Unfair Conditions: This tab includes one histogram that changes based on the active filters selected by users. The plot can be manipulated using the toolbar on the top right.

Employer Non-Compliance: This tab includes one histogram that changes based on the active filters selected by users.
