Shared Pathways to COP28 City Diplomacy Masterclass: Australian and Chinese Municipal Practitioners Shared Statement

In 2023, 28 local government practitioners from Australia and China took part in a specialist program of the University of Melbourne's City Diplomacy Masterclass: ‘Shared Pathways to COP28’. Delivered over two cohorts, Shared Pathways provided capacity building and bilateral networking opportunities for local government staff who conduct international work related to climate change. This is a shared statement from program participants to collectively voice the priorities, efforts and needs of their cities on climate action.
