This document is the online appendix to the article 'Peaces of music: Understanding the varieties of peace that music-making can foster' by Gillian Howell. It gives bibliographic information of the 62 peer-reviewed English language publications that were reviewed for the scoping study on which this article reports. The article presents a new typology of six varieties of peace that this music-making can foster, bringing much-needed conceptual and theoretical definition to the emerging interdisciplinary field of music-based peacebuilding.
