We conducted a rapid literature review to systematically summarise the current evidence regarding the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of palliative care, with a specific focus on the Australian context. We included systematic review and meta-analysis studies on palliative care for adults with advanced, end-stage, or life-limiting illness, published between 2018 and 2023. This work is ongoing, with plans to update the review annually by rerunning the searches to capture the most recent evidence.

The preliminary results of this work were presented at the CPC Annual Lecture 2023. The presentation of this lecture is uploaded above along with the rapid review. The link to the lecture is available below under Related Materials.
