This presentation puts forward three policy proposals for implementation of the Nillumbik Biodiversity Strategy on public land. The policies were developed by the author and presented to the public through social media and powerpoint presentation in a format which included the rationale and potential detailed design decision making in policy implementation.
The policies proposed are: A change from permits to guidelines for nature strip planting; The introduction of a fire sensitive rural street tree planting scheme; The consideration of biodiversity in maintenance approaches
