Homenaje: Spanish concerts and premieres June 2024

This research trip to Spain included the premiere of two new works written in response to Manuel de Falla's Homenaje a Debussy, Christopher Sainsbury's The Perpetual Presence and When Pinecones Fall in Perfect Circles by Melody Eötvös. These two works were written for this program which presents a program of music old and new that reflects on the legacy of Manuel de Falla's unique perspective on the guitar.
