This session was prepared for the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music Graduate Research Seminar, September 2, 2021, 11am - 1pm.
In this session you will be introduced to digital platforms for both
managing and presenting data collected for music research. This workshop
will introduce you to the different kinds of digital applications
available, and the technical support and training options that they can
access through the University of Melbourne. We will look at some
examples of music research projects which apply some of the approaches
we are discussing.
This workshop is part of the "Editions de l’Oiseau-Lyre International
Network" project led by Professor Kerry Murphy, Dr Rachel Orzech and Dr
Jen Hill. The project is assisted by Dr Kristal Spreadborough, Research
Data Specialist at the Melbourne Data Analytics Platform,
and Peter Farmer, Research Assistant. The workshop today is presented
by Dr Kristal Spreadborough (kristal.spreadborough@unimelb.edu.au).
