<p dir="ltr">This guide is the culmination of a 5-year Australian Research Council Discovery project that involved a broad range of research methods including:</p><ul><li>process mapping </li><li>in-depth interviews with 111 built environment professionals across a range of built environment sectors, including design (architecture, landscape architecture, urban design), urban planning, and sustainability - building on work chief investigators already conducted in property and construction</li><li>policy mapping; and</li><li>policy evaluation</li></ul><p dir="ltr">This guide was developed to assist built environment professionals and policy makers implement climate change action necessary to limit global warming to 1.5<sup>o</sup>C above pre-industrial levels, and to ensure cities are well adapted to the anticipated climate change.
