Jo Briscoe APDG is Senior Lecturer in Design at the VCA, co-ordinating the Master of Design and Production. Jo's professional practice includes design for both stage and screen. Television design credits include the award-winning series Please Like Me (season 3), Upper Middle Bogan, Little Lunch and Nowhere Boys (season 1); Woodley, The Family Law (season 2), Mustangs FC and Stories I Want to Tell You in Person. Film credits include Oddlands, Polly and Me, Hammer or Claw and Hush. Jo is an accredited member of the Australian Production Design Guild (APDG) and received the APDG Award for Production Design on a Television Production for The Katering Show (season 2) and was highly commended for the same award for The Late Session. With a background in theatre set and costume design, Jo has extensive design credits for companies including Melbourne Theatre Company, Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir, Griffin, OzOpera, Legs on the Wall and ATYP.
